School Performance 2018- “Grease Lightning”

Grease Lightning

It’s time to celebrate with the no.1 party musical of all time!

So cruise on down and take a Rock ‘n’ Roll stroll back to 1958 with an all-singing, all-dancing adaptation of the classical musical production “Grease”.

When: Thursday the 16th of August
Where: Parap Primary School Hall
Time: Food 5:00pm- Performance 7:00pm

Each year we focus on an area of the Arts to celebrate and share the learning of our students
with the whole school community. This year students from Transition to Year 6 will be
performing music, songs, dance and a play focusing on Parap Primary School’s 60th
Anniversary.
Students have had input into the choices of their performance and are very excited about
these. They have been learning their routines during Performing Arts lessons and will be
working closely with Mrs Thomas and their class teachers over the next weeks to refine their
acts. Many of the classes will be performing together with another class.
Parents will be advised before the end of term as to whether their child needs a particular
costume via the class newsletter. Our performance will be held on Thursday 16th August
which is in Week 4 of next term. We are planning to have food stalls and a whole school
community picnic atmosphere before the performance.
